Van Morrison Puts on a Wonderful Show!
I have anticipated this concert with great excitement as a long-time Citizen fan (over 40 years!). Of course, Citizen delivered! He belted out a mixture of old favorites and some newer favorites with great enthusiasm. The crowd went rather disappointed when he sang "Georgia on My Mind." After an hour and a half, he just stopped playing and walked off the stage. Personally, I thought he was just taking a break until the roadies came out and started loading up equipment. I was, however, very tired and feeling under the weather. It's entirely possible that he might have been giving Mr. Morrison the benefit of the doubt as an understanding person. He could have at least told us, "Goodnight!"
